In the middle of a move from Netherlands to US. I was assured by the salesperson in the Netherlands that they charge a little bit more because they're very professional and they will take care of our items better than other movers. The packing and moving on the Netherland side was very good and smooth. The insurance remains to be seen as it was very expensive and we're waiting for our items to be delivered here. I've heard from other people on here that the insurance is a scam and that they never end up paying you for anything they break but that is yet to be seen.I received a notice from the Netherlands side that our move would be more expensive because the shipping costs are more expensive. This is after we had an original quote that should have included all of these items and they already had our goods on a container ship. In their contract they say that the shipping costs can go up during the shipment if you have any shipments going through the Red Sea and they have to deal with piracy. Our shipments did not go through the Red Sea so we can't seem to understand why the shipping cost would go up. I've been tracking our container the entire time.Fast forward to the US side. The US side of this move has been terrible. I gave them the address of where we are moving where it was clear that the truck could not make it into the development. I shared with them that we had a two-story home. The expectation would be that they would move our items and help unpack and set up items like beds etc. We ended up changing the address for the delivery to a much easier delivery location. The truck can park in front of a storage unit and use a very large elevator to go up one floor. We would not require any unpacking or setting up any furniture as we're just moving into a storage unit. The move should be much easier and quicker for everyone involved. I find out from their US partner (Suddath) that they want to charge us more for the updated address especially to use an elevator instead of having to use stairs. Also I'm being charged more even though they are not unpacking or setting anything up. I've been going back and forth with them for several weeks now asking for one concise quote of everything that they've charged me for on both sides of the pond. I've yet to get that just a bunch of back and forth with excuses on why I need to pay them more. Meanwhile they have all of our items which should be arriving in the US in the next week or so and we feel as though our items are being held hostage until we pay them more. I have all the emails back and forth with the company as well as the quotes where I was very clear in the beginning that this was a corporate move and I needed to know all of the charges that we would incur. TBD on how this all ends.... At this point I would never use them again.

Pleasant service during the moving process, but the insurance process takes a very long time. The move was carried out at the beginning of June and unfortunately damage was caused. Insurance completed the process in September.Pleasant move with professional people.

Atlas supported us with a move from the UK to NL. The initial advice, customs process for household goods, actual removals & unpacking were all very good!I deduct only one star due to misinformation on how to import the car (which increased how long it took to import/register it). Initial advice indicated that it would be included with the household goods. However, subsequently someone else indicated (from their personal experience) that nothing would have to be done regarding customs and one could just get in touch with the Dutch authorities after the move. (That is no longer the case since Brexit.) So: Don't advise on things from personal rather than professional experience.

Moving from Switzerland to the US (west coast). After looking into various companies, we opted for Atlas. It offered a competitive price for air freight (2 weeks) compared to the sea freight (3 months) of the competitors. We moved 4cbm, including several glassware. We got our belongings in the two weeks estimated and everything was intact, not a single broken item. The team has always been supportive, answering always in a timely matter. The packing and un-packing were fast and efficient. We could not be happier with the service we received.
