It’s time to slow down and start handing over to a new generation!
After more than 40 years of active service and a fantastic career in the international moving industry, Arend Reijm has decided to slow down and prepare for his retirement. Arend has decided to retire per the 1st of September 2021 whereafter he will remain connected to Atlas International Movers as consultant and advisor.
Over the last 5 years Arend has made a huge contribution to the Atlas organization, managing our operations team and successfully implementing our quality and innovation programs which will lead us towards the future.
Per the first of March, Arend will hand over the responsibility of file management, quality and claim handling to Ciska Pieterse. Ciska has been with Atlas for several years, her natural leadership skills combined with her experience in the hospitality industry makes her the right person to lead our team of global move specialists.
Over the coming months we will investigate how the responsibility for planning, warehousing and crews can be best fulfilled. Until 1st of September this will remain to be the responsibility of Arend besides several internal management projects he will be finalizing.
